Aegean Airlines was founded in March 1999. The activity of the company was six times noted by awards of European Regions Airline Association (ERA). In addition, the company was awarded by Skytrax World Airline, as the best European regional airline in 2010. The main priority of the Aegean airlines is safety of flights, and therefore the company invested heavily in upgrade of the fleet with new modern aircraft, perfect control systems, good technical support, and training of the personel.
