KLMKLM Royal Dutch Airlines, legally Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V., one of the oldest air companies in the world, was founded in 1919. In May 2004, merger of KLM and Air France resulted in the largest European airline group. The airline has retained its trade name and brand, as well as Air France. The headquarters is in Amsterdam; and runs flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to 360 cities around the world in almost 80 countries. The fleet consists of 115 aircraft, mainly Airbus and Boeing.
