HOREX is a major event in the hospitality industry, and the most visited hospitality event in the region. Traditionally, HOREX comprises an exhibition, culinary congress, and various contests, seminars and training sessions from participating companies. According to the organisers, Iteca, the show promises to be bigger than in previous years. Last year, 2000 trade visitors came to the exhibition, and about 100 delegates took part in the culinary congress.
Exhibitors of HOREX 2010
HOREX 2010 will present about 100 companies from 7 countries and several thousand specialists from the hotel and restaurant business. The exhibition will demonstrate the full range of products and solutions necessary for the successful operation of hotels, restaurants and supermarkets. The countries represented at the exhibition include Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Russia, USA, Turkey and France.
Like last year, one of the central positions at the exhibition will be occupied by Metro Cash & Carry. Every hour, shows and master classes will be given by world-renowned companies, such as Unilever, Maggi and Henkel, and domestic companies including FoodMaster and RG Brands. There will also be tasting sessions of Nescafe coffee.
Main Sectors of the Exhibition
Among the new products presented at the exhibition will be an engineering solution for organising seating for smoking, bars, restaurants, hotels and offices by EES; Trevira professional textiles made from non-flammable materials by RosTextile; new generation infrared heaters for restaurants and outdoor seating areas by Active Engineering; the Viking Combi 100E cooking kettle for professional kitchens, with a powerful built-in mixer, manufactured by Hackman, from Vermi Gastro Maschinen and much more.
Organisers of the Exhibiton
The 3rd Kazakhstan Culinary Congress “Kitchen Virtuosos”, which is organised by Iteca and the Kazakhstan National Guild of Chefs, will consist of eight master classes by professional chefs. The congress will be held within HOREX in the special Show-Room pavilion. For the third consecutive year, the General Sponsor of the Culinary Congress is USAPEEC, the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council. Thematically, the Congress remains unchanged, such was the desire of last year’s delegates.
