Hard Rock Cafe is set to open in Almaty in early October

Central Asia's first Hard Rock Cafe, the famous American chain, is going to be opened in Almaty in early October 2014. This was announced by Vice-President Mr. Antonio Bautista at a recent press conference in Almaty Museum of National Instruments.

The three-story Hard Rock Cafe will be located in the heart of Almaty in a former Shisha-bar on 85, Karasaray Batyr Street, it is оnly 20-minute walk to the city center, next to the business center, hotels, parks and theaters.

The visitors of the Cafe will enjoy views of the Tian Shan Mountains and the beautiful skiing resort Chimbulak. Guests of Almaty, after having the famous hot burgers, fajitas and signature cocktails, can enjoy ice skating rink Medeo, which is the only high-mountain rink in the world.

Cafe includes a rock museum, souvenir shop, two restaurants, a bar, VIP booths, two spacious lounge areas and a terrace. In total, the capacity of Café is 400 people at a time. According to the official website of Hard Rock the Cafe will be traditionally decorated in the style of rock 'n' roll and souvenirs with the brand attributes will be sold there.

The feature of Kazakhstan’s Hard Rock Cafe – in addition to standard menu with American and Mexican cuisine, the dishes of Kazakhstan's national cuisine are expected to be included into the menu.
As in other Hard Rock Cafes, the modern live music will be playing in the restaurant, and the world's rock stars, as well as local groups will act in the scene of the Almaty-based café.

Hard Rock Café was founded in 1971 by two Americans Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in London. The restaurant is famous for its atmosphere and rock memorabilia (autographed guitars, rare photos and tickets to cultic concerts).

Eric Clapton has started a collection in 1979 by giving his guitar to the cafe - Red "Fender", so it to be hung over his favorite table. A total network of Hard Rock Cafe has more than 70 thousand different items that once belonged to famous musicians, from instruments to costumes.

Visitors will be able to see costume of Elvis Presley, bra of Rihanna, guitar of Rolling Stones and other “star” exhibits in the museum of Hard Rock Cafe of Almaty.

Today, the brand of Hard Rock Cafe includes not only cafes, but also the casino and hotels, which are located in the biggest cities around the world such as New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Moscow, London, Dubai, etc. Kazakhstan will be the 59th country in a row where the Hard Rock Cafe will open its doors.
