The southern capital of Kazakhstan is getting ready to celebrate City Day in a big way. Almaty City Day is traditionally celebrated every third Sunday of September. This year the holiday falls on the 21st of September.
From 29th of August to 30th of September there will be about forty entertainment events, exhibitions, festivals and competitions dedicated to the remarkable event in Almaty. Among them are festival of puppet theaters of the CIS countries, and the International Film Festival "Eurasia", and the Feast of gastronomy and many other interesting events that will brighten September days for residents and guests of Almaty.
On September 21st during the City Day Firework Festival, AppleFest, and the city holiday called "Our lovely park" to be held in Almaty.
