E-tickets on private trains to be introduced in Kazakhstan

As of January 1, 2016, tickets to five private railroad carriers in Kazakhstan are available for online purchase, - reports the information agency “Alau” with reference to the press-service of the Ministry of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Train tickets are available for online purchase serviced by the following carriers:

• ТОО ARLAN-TRANS-ASTANA (№75/76 Astana-Kyzylorda);
• ТОО «Maral-Nur» (№307/308 Аstana- Zhezkazgan);
• ТООNomadas (№55/56 Kokshetau-Kyzylorda);
• ТОО «Turksib Astana» (№327/328 Kostanay-Каraganda, №621/622 Коstanay-Аrqalyq);
• ТОО «Passenger’s Company «TuranExpress» (№393/394 Almaty-Аltinkol).

Service is available on the websites: rail-travel.kz, epay.railways.kz, flight.kz, ticket.kz; via terminals “Qiwi”, “Kassa 24” and others.

Moreover, as of January 1, 2016, all trains of the above-mentioned carriers are equipped with mobile terminals to “read” e-tickets and print out boarding passes.
