Our one-of-a-kind guided Kyrgyzstan biking tour is a showcase of the area’s natural beauty and allows you to sample delicious local foods, explore charming nomadic culture, and discover history and architectural monuments in the most interesting and intaractive way with highly qualifies tour guides.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Bishkek – Kochkor
 
You will be met and transferred to the hotel as you arrive in Bishkek. You will stay at 3 star hotel of Asia Mountains or similar. You will start exploring Kyrgyzstan after some rest. You will visit the Burana Tower, architectural sight from the 11th century, and had to the Boom Gorge. Lunch is on the way, dinner is upon arrival. Overnight in the family.
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 2: Kochkor – Tolok village – Son-Kul
 
You will be transferred to Tolok village after breakfast to start biking to Song-Kul. Biking distance is around 50 km (4-6 hours) with uphill followed by downhill. You will start at 1900 meters above the sea level, rise up to 3446 meters at the Kalmak Ashu pass, and finalize at 3016 meters at the Son-Kul Lake. Dinner and overnight in the yurt.

Day 3: Son-Kul
 
Biking around Son-Kul Lake (40 km, 3016 meters above the sea level). Overnight in the yurt.
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 4: Son-Kul – Chaek
 
After breakfast you will bike to Chaek (80km – 6-7 hours). You will start at the highest point of 3016 meters above the sea level, and reach the destination at 2200 meters. Upon arrival dinner and overnight in the family.
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 5: Chaek – Kyzyl-Oi – Bishkek
 
After breakfast you will be biking to Kyzyl-Oi. It takes 3-4 hours to get there (60 km). After lunch you will be transferred to Bishkek. Farewell dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Bishkek
 
Hotel check-out until midday. Transfer to the airport. End of Kyrgyzstan Biking Tour.

Level of difficulty: There are no difficulties on the route, recommended for people with average cycling experience.

You will/might need: Warm clothes, trekking boots, rain coat and etc. silk sleeping bag liner, rain gear (waterproof trousers should have an opening on the outside at the bottom of the leg in order to put on and take off without removing your trekking boots), 2-3 pairs of warm socks, waterproof trekking boots, gloves, sunglasses, sun cream with high UV-protection, lip balm with UV-protection, a daypack (camel bag).
Weight of personal things is not limited.

 

  • Transport for transfers and excursions (good condition german or japanese car);
  • Double room accommodation in the hotels and family according the program;
  • Four people accommodation in yurt camps according the program;
  • Meal is indicated per day;
  • Mineral water during the tour (2L a day per person);
  • English/German speaking tour guide;
  • Bike rent;
  • Helmet.

  • Single room accommodation;
  • Tips are not included, but would be appreciated;
