Itinerary:

Day 1: Bishkek – Chon Kemin
At 10 a.m. leave for Chong-Kemin Valley, 3-hour drive. On the way, visiting the Burana Tower architectural complex (the 10-11th centuries, the Great Silk Road), 1 hour.  Lunch at Kyrgyz family near Burana. Continue your way on to Karool-Dobo Village. Arrival in the village. Dinner and overnight in a CBT home stay.

Day 2: Chon Kemin – Karakol
Morning transfer to Cholpon-Ata town, 3 hours. Visit one of the biggest collections of petroglyphs near Cholpon-Ata, 1 hour.  Have a lunch at cafe in Cholpon-Ata. Continue further to Karakol, 2 hour. Arrival in Karakol   City tour in Karakol: visit the Karakol Mosque and the Orthodox Cathedral both made of wood. Enjoy dinner in a Dungan family.  Overnight stay at CBT home stay.

Day 3: Karakol – Jety Oguz – Bokonbaevo
After breakfast transfer to Bokonbaevo Village. On the way visit Jeti-Oguz Gorge, 2-3 hours. Picnic lunch in the gorge.  Arrival in Boonbaevo village. Dinner and overnight in a home stay.

Day 4: Bokonbaevo – Kochkor – Son Kul
After breakfast experience hunting with a golden eagle demonstration. Transfer to Kochkor village, 3 hours. Lunch upon arrival. Afternoon demonstration of “shyrdak” (Kyrgyz felt carpet) is being made. Lunch in a local house. Transfer to Son Kul lake. Meet your host family and get accommodated in the yurts. Lunch. Enjoy the peace of the jailoo. Dinner and overnight are in yurt.

Day 5: Son Kul
Day free at Song-Kol Lake. Lunch, dinner and B&B in the yurt.

Day 6: Son Kul – Bishkek
After breakfast transfer to Bishkek, 6 hours. Make a stop in Kochkor for lunch in a local house. Arrival in Bishkek, end of tour.

Standard tour price includes

5. Process of making felt carpets in Kochkor;
