Unusual Kyrgyzstan 10-day tour to Khan-Tengri and Pobeda Peaks will open up all touristic sights of this Central Asian country - excursions in the mountains, trips through high-mountain passes, overnights in yurts and beach holiday on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake. However the special moments of the tour will be short treks in different mountain regions of Kyrgyzstan. The zest of this part of the program will be flying on a helicopter to the foot of the Han-Tengri, where you will have a walk with a view of this well-known 7000m high mountain. With this tour, you will feel all beauty of active holidays and will charge yourself with the energy of Kyrgyzstan.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1 (Sun): Airport – Bishkek
 
Arrival in Bishkek, transfer to the hotel. After some rest sightseeing tour: Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, Philarmonic hall, Statue of Manas, Victory Square and Oriental market – Osh bazaar. After lunch transfer to the Ala-Archa National Park (40 km). You will be in the alpine gorge through which the fast flowing Ala-Archa River runs, flanked by tall, snow-covered peaks, steep-sided, forested mountain slopes and alpine meadows cowered with flowers. Hiking in the gorge. Return back to the alpine camp. Transfer to Bishkek. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 (Mon): Bishkek – Son-Kul
 
In the morning, drive to Son-Kul Lake (400 km). Lunch in Kochkor village on the way. Arriving in Son-Kul in the afternoon. This is a remote mountain lake situated on a treeless, high mountain plateau (3016 m) where shepherds bring the livestock in the summertime, establish a camp where they will live – setting up their yurts. In this magnificent place you can see hundreds of herds and a lot of different yurts, where you will certainly be invited to have kymyz, the national drink made of fermented mare's milk, and a traditional bread, try other diary products and home made jam. Dinner and overnight in yurts.

Day 3 (Tue): Son-Kul – Kochkor – Tamga
 
After breakfast transfer to Kochkor. On arrival to Kochkor you will visit a felt carpet workshop. It’s a place where you can see the process of making Kyrgyz national felt carpets. Lunch at a local family. Continue your drive to Tamga along the southern side of Issyk-Kul lake. You will enjoy the wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Dinner. Accommodation at the guesthouse.

Day 4 (Wed): Tamga – Jety-Oguz
 
Transfer to Jety-Oguz gorge along the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul lake. Your guide will tell you a legend about Jety-Oguz (seven bulls) and Broken Heart rock. Hiking in the gorge. Overnight in the yurt camp.

Day 5 (Thu): Jety-Oguz – Karakol – Karkara
 
After breakfast in the yurt transfer to Karkara via Karakol. Sightseeing tour in Karakol: visiting Prjevalsky museum, Wooden Orthodox Church, Dungan mosque in Chinese style. Lunch at Uigur family. Transfer to Karkara. End of services. (On this day the driver will leave you at the base camp).

Day 6 (Fri): Enilchek (Khan Tengri peak)
 
In the morning, after breakfast fly to Enilchek base camp on the foot of Khan Tengri peak by helicopter. Also, during this flight you will see another peak called Pobeda (Victory), after arrival you will be accommodated at the base camp.

Day 7 (Sat): Enilchek
 
After breakfast trek to the southern part of Enilchek with local guide. Return back to the base camp.

Day 8 (Sun): Enilchek – Karkara – Issyk-Kul
 
Fly back to Karkara. Transfer to Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way, there is an excursion in the open-air art gallery of stone, said to date from 500 BC – 100 AD, they depict wolves, long-horned ibex, goats, horses, snow leopards, sacrifices and some hunting scenes. Arrival at the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 9 (Mon): Issyk-Kul – Bishkek
 
Free time for swimming in the lake or walking along the beach till 11 am. Transfer to Bishkek. On the way stop to see Burana tower, which is left from ancient city Balasagyn (XI - XIII). Farewell dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 (Tue): Bishkek – airport
 
Transfer to the airport (30 km). End of the tour.
