Valentin Alexandrovich Serov (1865 -1911)
Valentin Serov is one of the greatest Russian painters of the late 19th – early 20th centuries. He is internationaly acknowledged due to his expressive, laconic, precise portraits. One of his best early works is «A Girl with Peaches» (1887) – a sun-filled, colorful picture.
