Tajikistan is the most unusual country in Central Asia. Take a trip to this unique land, and your heart will be impressed with beautiful mountain peaks touching the sky, cold lakes reflecting unlimited sky. In 6 days, you will travel from north to south, from city to city, from steppes to mountain passes. Here, as in any classical cultural tour, you will enjoy interesting excursions to sights and museums, though the magic of this trip is in its tranquility away from hectic life and traditional holiday. Take a pilgrimage to the mountains, and you will find peace that each of us is lacking today.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Tashkent – Khujand
 
Early morning transfer to Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border Oybek (100 km, 1 h. 30 min.). Customs and passport control on both sides, cross the border, meet Tajik local guide and driver. Drive to Khujand (70 km, 1 h.). Sightseeing in Khujand includes Republican Historical-Ethnographic Museum, Timur Malik Fortress, Archeological Museum, Mosque and Madrasah of Sheikh Muslehiddin, Panjshanbe Bazaar.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Khujand – Istaravshan (80 km)
 
After breakfast, drive to Istaravshan and have a short sightseeing tour upon arrival. Visit Mug Tepa, one of the ancient settlements in Tajikistan. Continue to Khazrati Shoh architectural complex that consists of Khazrati Shoh Mausoleum – the grave of brother of Kusam ibn Abbas; Khudayar Valami Mausoleum, and Mosque Namozgoh. Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse.

Day 3: Istarafshan – Haf Kul
 
In the morning, drive to Seven Lakes. On the way, visit Lenin statue on a dam of Urotepa reservation. Continue driving to the lakes. Each lake in mountains of Tajikistan has a different color. The Seven Lakes are: Mijgon, Soya, Hushyor, Nofin (2139 m above sea), Hurdak, Marguzor, and Hazorchashma (2400 m above sea level). Have picnic on the seventh Lake, Hazorchashma. Continue driving to the guesthouse for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Haf Kul – Iskandarkul – Dushanbe (305 km, 6-7 hours)
 
Drive to Dushanbe via the Anzob Pass (3373 m above sea). On the way, enjoy spectacular views of Iskandarkul Lake. Arrive in Dushanbe in the afternoon. Check in to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Dushanbe
 
After breakfast, start sightseeing tour in the capital, the largest city of Tajikistan. Visit to the National Museum of Tajikistan where you may see the famous statue of Buddha. Trip to the Botanic Garden where the local people like spending their spare time. Visit to the bazaar. Trip to the  countryside (30 km) to explore the remains of Hissar Fortress of  the 18th century. Visit to two madrasahs and a mausoleum. Return to Dushanbe. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Dushanbe – departure
 
Check-out from the hotel till noon. Free time till transfer to Dushanbe International Airport. Departure.
