An international airport with a capacity of 1,600 passengers/h is planned to build in Ashgabat by August 2016.
The construction started this month will be carried out by the Turkish Company Polimeks, which has already completed over 120 building projects in the territory of Turkmenistan, including the construction of the Turkmenbashi city’s airport.
The project cost is about $2,200,000, reports IA “Trend”.
