With effect from 20 November a single air ticket in the direction Tashkent - Samarkand and Samarkand - Tashkent will cost 40,000 UZS (a. $20), including fees. The tariffs are effective from 20 November till 31 December 2012.
On 8 November 2012 an opening of railway terminal after reconstruction took place in Urgench. The passenger building, landside area and platform were renovated in the course of complete overhauling carried out by the SJSRC “Uzbekistan Temir Yullari”.
The field work held in Namangan, the Fergana Valley revealed carcasses of Indricotherium, the ancient progenitors of rhinoceroses.
The Kokand Museum of Local Lore is one of the largest Kokand museums housed in the Khudoyar-Khan Palace rooms. The Museum funds hold over 30,000 exhibits and include such sections as History, Art, Literature and Nature of Kokand.
The schedule includes flights of every airline, which provided voyages to Uzbekistan from CIS and far abroad countries. Domestic flights schedule is also indicated in the table.
The Tashkent metro is really considered to be one of the most beautiful ones in the world and a bright place of interest of the Uzbek capital. This year Tashkent metro celebrated its 35th anniversary
On 11 November a solemn festive liturgy devoted to the 140-Anniversary of the Tashkent and Central Asian Eparchy will be administered in the Cathedral Church of Holy Dormitory.
For the period from January to September 2012 Uzbekistan Airways have increased passenger transportation by 13.6% in comparison with the same period of 2011.
