For the period from January to September 2012 Uzbekistan Airways have increased passenger transportation by 13.6% in comparison with the same period of 2011.
According to the data furnished by Uzbekistan Airways this was achieved due to the increase in number of flights to far-abroad countries by 6,5 %, and near-abroad countries, in particular to the CIS countries, by 17,1%.
The Uzbekistan Airways’s aircrafts performed 18,500 passenger flights for the current period, while the Company’s volume of freight traffic decreased by 18,5% down to 30,200 t., uzairways.com. reports.
