Tashkent-Chinara train has been launched in May

Interurban electric train No.6427/6428 in the direction of Tashkent-Chinara (Hodjikent) was launched on 4 May 2013, reports OJSC “Uzzheldorpass” press-service.

In summer months on Saturdays and Sundays, tourists will be able to go by train to small village Hodjikent, located in close proximity to the cliff with petroglyphs dated back to the first century BC. There were registered over 90 rock paintings depicting figures of animal and people.

The train will be starting at 8:55 am from Tashkent railway terminal station “Yuzny”. Departure time from “Salar” station is 9:30 am. The train will return to Tashkent from “Chinara” station at 06:00.pm.
