It looked like its opening gathered the whole city: youth, parents with children, pensioners – all of them wanted to see the new park, so its box offices had long queues formed in no time. The same scenario was with amusement arcades. Even the stalls with ice cream and soft drinks gathered crowds.

The park has comfortable benches arranged among blossoming spring greens. Along its perimeter a special excursion train operates for the visitors.

Locomotive Amusement ParkThe Park operates a western-model payment system: the visitors buy a 2,000 UZS plastic card and place money to pay for the rides. The cost for amusement arcades ranges from 2,000 UZS to 7,000 UZS.

Locomotive Park was built in the territory of the former Zafar Diyor Park of Culture and Rest, rented out to commercial enterprise LLC “Locomotive Ishtirohat Bogi” by city municipality late in 2012. The approximate cost of park technical re-equipment is about $4,000,000.
