Uzbekistan tourismThe latest issue of the National Geographic Traveler included the list of the best travel destinations in CIS.

The magazine listed Samarkand, Bukhara, cities of the Great Silk Road, and the Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan as the most attractive touristic places in Central Asia.

Besides, the list includes Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan, Batumi in Georgia, Lake Sevan in Armenia and cultural capital of RussiaSaint-Petersburg.

In addition, they recommend traveling to the southern shores of Crimea, Caucasian Mountains, Altai, Mineralnyevody and Pyatigorsk.

National Geographic Traveler is a popular American travel magazine. It is published by the National Geographic Society since 1984 in 20 countries of the world in 10 languages. Since 2005 the National Geographic Traveler is published in Russian with the circulation of 110 thousand copies and distributed around the entire territory of Russia and CIS.
