As reported on the official website of “Uzjeldorpass” company, the train “Afrosiyob” traditionally supplied in direction Tashkent-Samarkand on Saturdays and Sundays, will operate three runs a day.
Thus, as of 9 May 2015 the additional run №764/763 from Tashkent to Samarkand and back will be added. Train departs at 10.40 from Samarkand and arrives in Tashkent at 12.50. Departure from Tashkent is at 13.50 and arrival in Samarkand is at 15.58.
High-speed train “Afrosiyob” of the Spanish producer company Talgo is a modern and comfortable means of transport on this route. Its maximal speed is 250km p/h. The first trip of the train in Uzbekistan was carried out on 8 October 2011.
