New electric cars began to route in the historical part of the ancient Shakhrisabz, reports Uzbekistan News.
Four modern electric cars tour around the old city. The 4 km route includes such complexes as Ak-Saray, Dor-ut Tilovat, Dor-us Saodat and others. Comfortable excursion transport is safe from ecological point of view and does not damage the architectural sights. New electromobiles are the only permitted transport in the historical part of the city where ban on cars and buses applies.
Electric cars were purchased within the frames of the Kashkadarya region tourism development program. Each electromobile has 14 seats; the average speed of 20 km an hour and a range of 80 km on a charge.
