Why Aptekaexpo 2007?
APTEKA EXPO is the only Central Asian International Specialised Exhibition for pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The APTEKA EXPO exhibition is established on the base of 11 years experience of the “Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition – TIHE” which is the leading healthcare exhibition in Uzbekistan and one of the leading healthcare exhibitions in the Central Asian region.
The exhibition will give the unique opportunity to meet medicine manufacturers, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and technologies for pharmaceutical industry and will gather the specialists from all over Central Asia region. The exhibition is the most visited in Central-Asian region. In 2006 the exhibition was visited by more than 9000 specialists, 54% of which were doctors and pharmacists, 13% - managers of pharmaceutical and medical companies and 9% - Officials from the Ministry of Public Health.
Today over 4,500 pharmaceuticals are registered in Uzbekistan. Among them over 2,000 pharmaceuticals are manufactured by foreign pharmaceutical companies, about 1,300 of medicaments are manufactured by producers from the CIS countries, 250 names of substances and means for diagnostics are registered, over 300 kinds of medicines are made in Uzbekistan.
Over 80 pharmaceutical companies (foreign representative offices) are operating on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The largest suppliers of pharmaceutical products to Uzbekistan are Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, France and the USA.
There are about 70 manufacturers of medicines and products for medical purpose in Uzbekistan.
