About the exhibition:

For sixteen years, TIHE has held a special place in the life of the medical community in Uzbekistan, and transformed into the country’s main medical exhibition.
During this time, TIHE has given a start to a number of medical exhibitions, which are now held under the title “International Uzbekistan Healthcare Week – TIHE”.
The annual April exhibition "TIHE" is the main medical exhibition in Uzbekistan.
It is a unique platform for business and great place for meeting of medical industry experts: producers, distributors, doctors, medical community of the country.

About Uzbekistan

• The Republic of Uzbekistan is located in the heart of Central Asia and deservedly considered as one of the pearls of Central Asia and the entire Great Silk Road region. Uzbekistan borders with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic.
• The Republic of Uzbekistan is the country with population of 27, 6 million and the area of 447, 000 sq. km.
• There are 8 322 treatment-and-prophylactics medical organisations in Uzbekistan including 1018 hospitals, 3825 medical out-patient polyclinic organisations, 3479 rural medical and out-patient organisations.
• Today over 4,500 preparations are registered in Uzbekistan. Among them over 2,000 preparations are manufactured by foreign pharmaceutical companies, about 1,300 of medicaments are manufactured by producers from the CIS countries, 250 names of substances and means for diagnostics are registered, over 300 kinds of medicines are made in Uzbekistan.
• Over 80 pharmaceutical companies (foreign representative offices) are operating on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The largest suppliers of pharmaceutical products to Uzbekistan are Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, France and the USA.
• There are 92 manufacturers of medicines and products for medical purpose in Uzbekistan.
• In total, over the past year, more than 2 trillion soms ($1.2 billion) has been spent on healthcare development, with 1.7 trillion soms (over $1 billion) coming from budget funds.
