Why Uzbekistan?
Among CIS countries Uzbekistan is the leader in producing and farming fruits, vegetables, grape, karakul, wool.
The main Uzbekistan export items are: silk, cotton, natural gas, automobiles, gold, textile goods; import items – food stuff, household goods, technics, spare parts, electronic devices. There are operating enterprises of fruit and vegetable products processing, production of soft drinks, juices, wine and liquor products, meat and milk, bakery, confectionary and margarine products as well as macaroni products.
In 2007 Uzbekistan GDP is increased to 7.3%. Industrial output is increased to 10,8%; agriculture – to 6,2%, foreign trade turnover - to 13,5%.
