Around Big Chimgan

  Duration: 5 days\4 nights

Itinerary:

 

Day 1: Transfer to Beldersay valley to the starting point of our trekking (75 km, 2 h). Short ascent along Mramornaya river. Lunch. Trek up the Urta-Kumbel Pass (1880 m) and descent to Beldersay river where our first mountain camp will be waiting for us. Free time. Dinner. Overnight in the tents.

Day 2: Breakfast. Ascent along Beldersay ridge to the Kumbel Pass. Lunch. Crossing to the Tahta Pass (2620 m). Putting the camp.

 

Day 3: Breakfast. Full day walking around the Southern side of Big Chimgan. Putting the camp in the headstream of Karaarcha river.

 

Day 4: Breakfast. Ascent to the Komsomolets Pass (2750 m). Descent from the pass to headstream of Mazarsay river. Lunch. Crossing to the Gulkam canyon. Putting the camp.

Day 5: Breakfast. Excursion to the canyon. Lunch. Crossing through the Pesochny Pass (1830 m) to Chimgan village. Return to Tashkent (85 km, 2,5 h).

Notes: you will have possibility to stow 10 kg of own belongings to the caravan of porters or horses. These things will be loaded on the horses (porters) and stayed with them during the day. So, everything has to be packed into the bags or rucksack and everybody should have just a small daypack for every day.

 

For the hiking tourists should have: 4-season sleeping bag, sleeping pad, mountain boots, windproof costume and warm clothes, sun-protection glasses, raincoat.

 

The high - altitude schedule of the hiking

Price includes:

 

- Double\triple accommodation in tents;
- Full board in the mountains;
- All transfers;
- Entrance fees to the national preserved park (mountains) and ecological tax;
- Rent of needed mountain equipment;
- The services of English speaking mountain guide, cook, porters or horses during the trekking.

Price does not include:

  - Sleeping bags and pads, insurance.
