This two-day tour allows guests to experience the stark beauty of Georgia’s frozen winter landscape in two of its most picturesque locations: Borjomi and Bakuriani. You will trek through unspoiled wilderness in the striking, snowy stillness and enjoy breathtaking alpine views at Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park before reveling in wintertime activities of your choice while lodging in charming mountain comfort at Bakuriani.
Tour itinerary:
In the morning, your driver will pick you up from your place in Tbilisi to start two-day Georgia winter tour. Drive to Borjomi, the town famous for the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Experience winter trekking through the park on snowshoes (up to five hours). Have a picnic lunch during the trek, surrounded by the magical winter forest. Continue to the most famous ski resort in Georgia–Bakuriani. Overnight at the hotel.
Spend your day in Bakuriani, a popular skiing destination in Georgia famous for alpine runs and pristine off-trail runs. Bakuriani is located on the slopes of so-called lesser Caucasus Mountains and provides its visitors a number of cross-country trails for skiing and snowboarding. A wide range of other winter experiences like skating, snowmobiling, horse-drawn sledges, paragliding, and breathtaking walks are also available in the nature of Bakuriani. In the evening drive back to Tbilisi. Drop off at the hotel or any other preferred location.
