Lal Hotel

Lal Hotel is one of the biggest hotels in a small town Khorog. The name of the hotel means a precious stone Lal, so-called red spinel resembling ruby extracted not far from the city, in the foot of the Kukhilal Mountain. Lal hotel corresponds to its name; it is one of the best hotels in the city attracting travelers with its authentic interior.

Corridors and halls of the hotel Lal are designed in a traditional Pamirian style. Rooms, adorned with masonry, combine classical and oriental styles. Each room has everything necessary for a good rest and stay. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower cabin.

In general, equipment and facilities of the Lal hotel are rather simple, but good enough in comparison to other hotels on the Pamir track. There is also a cozy little garden with benches and tapchan (raised platform with a small table on it), sauna, small café in a national style and a souvenir shop. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, though its speed will suffice only for checking mail and messengers.
