This two-day Aral Sea Group Tour is a great way to explore what used to be the world’s fourth-largest lake, known as a sea because of its massive size. Today, however, only 10% of the water is left, and the flora and fauna in the region are disappearing. Start at the Ustyurt Plateau, a stony clay desert, then walk along the bottom of the dried-up sea, where the cemetery of ships is all that remains of Muynak’s bustling fishing industry. History lovers will appreciate the the Mizdakhan Necropolis and Gyaur-Kala Fortress. Share impressions and costs on the Aral Sea Group Tour with travelers who are just as adventurous as you.

Tour dates for the Aral Sea Group Tour coincide with the Uzbekistan Group Tour. It is easy to add the Aral Sea as a tour extension and then easily reach Khiva (Urgench) from Nukus.
