The Gem of the Caspian tourist project, unparalleled anywhere in the world, will be implemented on the Baku archipelago largest isle Boyuk Zira (Nargin), - reports news agency Vesti.Az, citing “Novosti-Azerbaijan”. The estimated project cost is $142.000.000.

Modern hotels and recreation zones will be also built on the isle as part of the project. The first facility - the Hotel Caravanserai to be built in national style will plunge the guests in a mysterious atmosphere of the Middle Ages. Mosques, churches and synagogues are also planned to be built on the isle. Furthermore, a Quarter of Youth with various entertainment facilities is also provided under the project. The total area will come up to 120 m2.

It is an interesting fact that electric cars – non-polluting transport, will be exclusively used to move inside the isle.
