Regular cheese festival will be held on 24 July in the city of Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, reports Sputnik Georgia.
The festival will be held on the square near the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral from 10.00 to 19.00. There you can taste different kinds of cheeses offered by both, large producing companies and private cheese makers; not only from Georgia, but Azerbaijan and Armenia. The feast of taste is open to everyone.
Last year cheese festival was traditionally organized in Tbilisi, in the Rike Park. Then it was decided that the next festival of cheese should be held in the region of the event winner. In 2015 Mtskheta-Mtianeti region won.
