AUTOMOTIVE MARKET OF AZERBAIJAN
• In January-February 2008 Azerbaijan has imported 10965 motor cars
• In the course of last five years the number of cars per 1000 persons in Azerbaijan has increased by 1,5 times and in 2007 became 90 cars. 4/5 of the automobiles are motor cars, 14,3% - auto trucks, 3,6% - busses, the rest - special purpose automobiles
• In accordance with the information given by the representatives of Azerbaijan Republic Ministry of Transportation, there will be imported about 400 thousand automobiles within the next three years
• In 2008-2011 there will be constructed 11 new highway bridges, 13 crossings and 11underground car parks
• There are 5 highway bridges, 1 tunnel and 6 crossing (5 underground and 1 over pass) were given to exploitation in Baku
