BIHE 2009
BIHE 2007 opens on 6 November in the Sports-Exhibition Complex named after Hydar Aliyev in Baku, Azerbaijan. The exhibition will host 152 companies from 25 countries, having increased its space by 10% compared to the previous event
BIHE covers all sectors of the healthcare industry in Azerbaijan, including hospital equipment and services, pharmacology, pharmaceutical equipment, optics and ophthalmology.
For the first time, Beauty Azerbaijan, will be held alongside the event, showcasing the latest plastic surgery, cosmetics, hairdressing, spa and beauty products and technologies available on the market. Participants will include SunVital (Azerbaijan), BFB Global Trade GmbH (Germany), Procter and Gamble (Azerbaijan), SSB Nuga Best (Azerbaijan) and Nabeel Parfume (Turkey).
Also taking place alongside BIHE will be the 2nd Azerbaijan Stomatology exhibition and a conference dedicated to ‘Topical issues in stomatology’. The conference is organised by the Azerbaijan Stomatological Association, assisted by Iteca Caspian LLC and celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Association. It will take place on 8 November in the Baku Ball Room of the Grand Europe Hotel. Leading specialists from Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkey will be participating.
Event Manager, Ms. Rukhsara Mamedsalakhova, says, “Healthcare is one of the fastest-developing sectors of the Azerbaijan economy. Encompassing all areas of the healthcare industry, BIHE is a vital source of information for international companies and offers an opportunity to view the latest medical achievements in Azerbaijan and the region as a whole. The new sector, Beauty Azerbaijan, reflects the development of the industry and we are really looking forward to seeing the new products on display”.
BIHE is officially supported by the Healthcare Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation and the Azerbaijan Stomatological Association. The exhibition has also been awarded ‘UFI Approved’ status. UFI is the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and BIHE’s ‘approved’ status reflects the international presence at the show, its influence on the development of business in the region and the validity of its statistics.
