Around 4000 young athletes from more than 49 European countries will gather in Tbilisi in Summer this year in order to take part in the European Youth Olympic Festival 2015.
The Festival - major youth olympic European event, will be held in the capital of Georgia from July 25 until August 1, 2015, and its programme includes 9 types of sport (judo, tennis, swimming, volleyball, cycling, gymnastics, handball, basketball, athletics).
The November 2010 decision of European Olympic Committee to grant the official host-city status of this Festival to Tbilisi has boosted its renovation in sporting infrastructure and building of new accommodation facilities and hotels for the athletes and their fans.
