Tbilisi Central Railway Station serves as a connecting link for many South Caucasus rail routes, with trains to Tbilisi frequently arriving from Yerevan in the south, Baku in the east and Batumi near the Black Sea in the west.
The station is located in the city center just 5 kilometers from Old Tbilisi and 20 kilometers from the airport. Sadguris Moedani Metro Station (Vokzalnaya Square) is also located 400 meters from the station.
Built more than 150 years ago, Tbilisi Train Station has witnessed much. The 6-storey building now holds a shopping center, a cafe and even Tbilisi Central Hotel, which occupies the 5th and 6th floors.
Passenger Information: The ticket office, exit to the platforms and waiting room at the Tbilisi train station are all located on the 3rd floor.
