The exhibition is annually supported by the Committee for Construction and Housing Utilities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Almaty City Akimat.
KazBuild 2008 Results
- Exhibitors: Performance evaluation of the event showed that 24% of its exhibitors made sales during the exhibitions, while 74% of exhibitors believe they will receive feedback from the contacts established during the exhibition within the next 1-3 months.
- In their questionnaires, 38% of exhibitors said their stand was attended by 10 to 50 specialists per day, 40% – 50 to 100 specialists, 14% – 100 to 200 specialists, and 8% of exhibitors told about their products and services to more than 500 specialists per day.
- Visitors: KazBuild had about 19,298* registered visits in 2007, which is by 12% more than in 2006. First-timers made 22%. Specialists of the construction industry and associated sectors* made 92% of all visitors.
- 37% of visitors were interested in establishing new business contacts, 21% of specialists came to purchase new products, 16% were interested in maintaining their existing business contacts, and 26% of specialists came to get general information about the construction market.
*In 2005 KazBuild was approved by UFI, a major exhibition association, and since then has been audited every year to provide reliable data about the quantity and quality of exhibiting companies. www.ufi.com
