Tourists will be able to visit sights in the border zone of Kazakhstan

Foreign tourists will be able to visit few touristic places on the border of Kazakhstan without a special pass, - reports the press-service of the Ministry of investments and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A corresponding decree was signed by the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The list of places open for visiting by foreign citizens include such popular sights of Kazakhstan as Big Almaty Lake, national natural parks Charyn and Jungar Alatau, Kolsay lakes, mountain resort Chymbulak, Medeo, Kok-Jaylau, natural reserve Ustyurt, also cities of Aktau, Atyrau, Uralsk, Ridder, Sary-Agash, Taraz and others.

Previously, access to these areas required from foreign tourists special permission of the Ministry of internal affairs.
