The Tchany Lake -the biggest lake of West Siberia

The biggest lake of West Siberia, the Tchany Lake, is a beautiful natural monument of Novosibirsk. It is located at the distance of 300 km from Novosibirsk in the Barabinskaya lowland. Tchany is a salty closed lake. Its maximal depth is 12 meters. Tchany is a popular place for hunting, fishing, treatment and ecotourism. There are mineral springs and extraction of silt mud by the lake.
