Euronews showed a short film about Uzbekistan, this time about Termez in particular, - informs the official website of the TV channel. The audiences learn about the Buddhist legacy of this ancient city – temple complex of Fayaz Tepa that dates back more than 2000 years to the Kushan dynasty.
Apart from that, the film tells about the Dalvarzintepa - a settlement in the region of Termez founded in the 3rd century B.C. It was once a wealthy city: during the excavations, there was discovered a vessel full of valuable gems. The first solid size (36 kilograms of) gold treasure found on the territory of Central Asia was in Dalvarzintepa.
