This is a full-day Gabala & Shamakhi Group Tour to the North Eastern part of Azerbaijan. Gabala, Azerbaijan's highest regional holiday city, is a series of flashy modern hotels and a flourishing ski resort scattered around the foothills of some beautiful, forested mountains. On the journey to Gabala, we will visit Azerbaijan's old capital city, Shamakhi. Travelers will have a chance to visit Juma Mosque, the first mosque in the whole Caucasus and Azerbaijan, situated in Shamakhi.
Tour itinerary:
Baku – Gabala – Shamakhi – Baku
Meet your guide near the entrance to the Old City, called Gosha Gala Tower. Our driver can also pick you up at your hotel in the city center. On the journey to Gabala, we will visit Azerbaijan's old capital city, Shamakhi. You will see Juma mosque in the Shamakhi region. After visiting the oldest mosque in Azerbaijan which was built in the 8th century, the tour will go to Gabala which is the newest resort town. Eye-catching Lake Nohur with a magnificent view of the Caucasus Mountains will be visited as well. Visiting the Tufandag winter-summer tourism complex. It is an ideal place for those who want to walk in the mountains, ride in a cable car to watch nature, and enjoy active rest in summer. You will see the Seven Beauties waterfall that flows from the highest peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. Return to Baku. End of Gabala & Shamakhi Group Tour.
