Tour itinerary:
Meet your guide near the entrance to the Old City, called Gosha Gala Tower. Start your walk in Icheri Sheher – the old part of the city. You will see the famous Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs’ Palace, described by UNESCO as "one of the pearls of Azerbaijan's architecture”, and Juma Mosque, which was built in the 15th century. You will pass by the unique Miniature Book Museum, and Ismailliyya Palace, a historical building that currently serves as the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. You will pass by the National Carpets Museum, the reachest bank of Azeri carpets. Continue to Highland Park, one of the most beautiful parks of Baku; see Martyrs’ Lane, called ‘Shehidler Khiyabany’ among locals. Further, you will see Baku Boulevard.
