Bukhara airport is the CIS most dynamically developing airport Following the results of the traditional competition held by the Association of Civil Aviation "Airport" (Russia), Bukhara air harbor is recognized as the CIS most dynamically developing airport by annual volume of passenger traffic of 100,000-500,000 people, - reports Uzbekistan Airways press service. The awarding ceremony took place in Moscow.

The Association of Civil Aviation "Airport" was set up to carry out coordination activities, create necessary conditions for business activity of its members and protect their interests. To date the International Association includes about 250 companies from over 20 countries of the world.

Bukhara International airport was also granted a certificate of compliance with quality management system by “Russian Register” certification body, St. Petersburg. The assessment took into account such aspects as pax ground handling, baggage and mail processing, airfield and lighting support by special transport, supply of aircrafts with fuels, lubricants and special liquids.
