About the exhibition:

The present exhibition is an important event for mining sector of Uzbekistan’s economy. The sector is one of the leaders in the industry of Uzbekistan and includes non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy with production of gold, copper, refractory and high-temperature metals.

The show will assist in effective re-equipment of mineral and metallurgy industries of Uzbekistan and in development of technologies.

The largest enterprises of the sector are Navoi and Almalik Mining and Smelting Complexes. Uzbek Complex of Refractory and High-temperature Metals, located in Chirchik, is mining tungsten and molybdenum deposits. Commercial production of non-ferrous metal deposits as zinc, copper, lead, tungsten and non-metal minerals as fel spar, quartz, limestone, turquoise takes place. Steel and metal-roll is produced at Bekabad plant by recycling of scrap metal. Coal is mined at 3 deposits: Angren, Shargun and Baysun. Gold is extracted at Zeravshan river basin and at Kysilkum desert.

Foreign companies are invited to participate in activity of mineral industry of Uzbekistan, especially in the field of gold mining where modern technologies are in need.

At present deposits of gold, non-ferrous and ferrous metals, hydrocarbon and mining minerals are explored and prepared for extraction. Uzbekistan is universally ranked 1st place for copper deposits and 4th place for gold and uranium deposits.

The main goal of the present exhibition is to establish and tighten contacts between equipment producers, suppliers of goods and services, traders, and customers.
