About the exhibition:
Shoes&Leather Uzbekistan 2012 is a unique business event targeted at the wholesale and retail trade, agents, distributors and producers of Central Asia. This is the only specialized exhibition, which takes place in Uzbekistan, Tashkent.
Why Uzbekistan?
Tashkent is the largest city in Central Asia with a population of about 3 million people and nearly 2 million people live in the Tashkent region. Uzbekistan has a population of about 27 million people and is the most populous republic in Central Asia.
Uzbekistan is the 5th largest producer of cotton and is the third largest cotton exporter. Uzbekistan occupies the 7th position in the gold mining and has the 4th largest gold reserves.
Uzbekistan has significant fuel resources and is one of ten world leaders in production of natural gas.
