On 1 August, there was held an official opening of Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi in the capital of Georgia. The new luxurious hotel is located on one of the main streets of the city and not far from the banks of the Kura River. The hotel was built on the foundation of the Marxism-Leninism Institute building that was an architectural monument of its time. The institute was restored and turned into the base of the hotel.
The 32-floor glass skyscraper reflecting the sky offers 214 comfortable rooms of various classes, restaurants, bars, conference-halls, spa-center, as well as a casino and many others.
The UAE based Dhabi Group carried out the project in Tbilisi investing $ 140 mln into it. The signal to start the festivities was given by His Highness Sheikh Mubarak Al Nahyan, Prime-Minister of Georgia and Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.
