Who we are

This website is operated by Advantour, a tour operator with offices at 43 Mirobod-1 Street, Tashkent 100015, Uzbekistan, and 98 Zakaria Paliashvili Street, Tbilisi 0179, Georgia.

We decide how and why your personal data is used on this website. If you have any questions about this policy or want to exercise any of the rights described below, write to info@advantour.com and we will answer within 30 days.

What we collect

When you contact us or request a booking, we collect what you type into the form: your title, first and last name, email address, phone number, citizenship, travel dates, number of travellers, and anything you write in the comments. For train and transfer bookings we also collect the route, class and dates you select.

Automatically, when you use the site, we collect your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, the page you came from, and the pages you open on our site.

When you book and pay, payment is handled by our bank’s secure payment page. We never see or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. For refunds we keep only the last four digits of the card and the cardholder name, so that the bank can identify the payment.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not ask for information about your health, religion or political views. Please do not send us such information unless it is genuinely necessary for your trip — for example a dietary or accessibility requirement — in which case we use it only to arrange those services.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To answer your enquiry and arrange your trip. Without this data we cannot reply to you or make a booking. This is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep records of bookings and payments, because tax and accounting law requires it.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it. For visitors in the EU, the EEA and the UK we do this only with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Who else sees your data

Our own offices and partners. Your enquiry is handled by the Advantour office responsible for the destination. In Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan our services are provided by our country partners (Ak-Sai Travel and Aventura Travel), and in the USA we are represented by Bridges Unlimited Inc. They receive only what is needed to arrange your trip.

Travel service providers — hotels, airlines, railways, transport companies, guides and embassies. Some of these, especially railways and visa authorities, require your passport details, and we pass on only what they require.

Analytics and advertising providers. This site uses:

ServiceProvider and countryWhat it receives
Google Analytics, Google Tag ManagerGoogle, USAPages you visit, approximate location, device, an identifier stored in a cookie
Meta PixelMeta Platforms, USAThat you visited the site, an identifier stored in a cookie

We do not record what you do on the site — we do not record mouse movements, clicks or what you type.

Authorities, where the law requires it.

Cookies

When you first open this site we ask whether you agree to analytics and advertising cookies. Necessary cookies, which keep the site working and remember your choice, are always set. Everything else is set only after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you do, the site will still work, but it will ask for your choice again.

Where your data goes

Our offices are in Uzbekistan and Georgia, and our partners are in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and the USA. The analytics providers listed above process data in the USA. This means your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, to countries whose data protection laws differ from those of the EEA. Where we transfer data to our partners and suppliers, we do so only as needed to arrange the trip you asked for.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a booking — 24 months, after which they are deleted.
  • Bookings, invoices and payment records — 5 years, because accounting and tax rules require it.
  • Analytics data — for the period set by the provider.
  • Email correspondence — for as long as needed to serve you, and then deleted on request.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your data, where we are not required to keep it;
  • stop using your data for analytics, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier.

Write to info@advantour.com. We will answer within 30 days and we will not charge you for it.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, the right to receive your data in a portable format, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

We protect your data with access controls, encrypted connections to this website, and limits on who inside the company can access it. No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and email in particular travels over networks we do not control. If a breach ever puts your data at real risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, if the change is significant, say so on the site.
