This festival season novelty will be a holographic theater of rites where the actors on the background of realistic holographic scenery will demonstrate rituals that accompanied every stage of development of every nomad’s life-cycle stage: the birth, baby’s first step, its entry into adulthood, wedding.
The festival program will also present the show and entertainment which have already become traditional: children's workshop “My little yurt”, sports meeting of “Altyn saqa” fans , an exhibition of musical instruments , exhibition of hunting birds and Kazakh tazy, Kiіz bass ethno- show, nomadic circus performances and so on.
The Millennia around Astana festival was first organized in 2008, in honor of the 10-anniversary of Astana. This is the only world’s festival of nomadic civilization, which demonstrates not only the historical value of the nomadic civilization, but also its impact on lifestyle, fashion trends, architecture of modern Kazakhstan. The festival is held annually. This year it is held for the seventh time.
