Cancellation Policy during COVID-19 Pandemic

We recognize the significant uncertainty tourists are now facing when trying to make travel plans. With this in mind, we currently offer a zero-cancellation fee on all tour and travel service bookings.

According to our General Booking Terms and Conditions our usual cancellation fees are:

  • 30 days or more before departure – loss of deposit
  • 15-29 days before departure – 30% of tour cost*
  • 7-14 days before departure – 50% of tour cost*
  • 6 or fewer days before departure – 80% of tour cost*

* or deposit if greater.

However, we appreciate that the situation with coronavirus continues to evolve and that you may be concerned about the need to cancel your tour or other travel arrangements at short notice.

We have been actively negotiating cancellation fees with hotels, transportation companies, and guides where we can, and seeing how we can minimise fees for cancelling train and airline tickets.

In response to the current challenging circumstances, companies in the travel industry have been relaxing their cancellation policies. We now offer a zero-cancellation fee on all bookings – including tours, hotel bookings, and other travel services (except for factual expenses already incurred – e.g., issued e-visas, cancellation fees for issued airline tickets, bank transfer fee).

The airlines we use are currently offering full refunds (except for a EUR 1 fee per ticket) on flights they cancel for coronavirus-related reasons. For now, flights scheduled to depart from May onwards remain subject to the airlines’ standard cancellation fees.
