Presentation of a large-scale project Check-in-Georgia was held in Tbilisi, reports the Georgia News. According to the idea of organizers, it should include more than 30 cultural festivals and performances of world stars across the entire country.
Among the invited stars are famous Italian singer Eros Ramazotti, whose concert will be held in the capital on 24 April. The British pop-idol Robbie Williams will perform in Tbilisi on 27 May. The Maroon 5 invites everyone to its concert in Batumi on 7 June and the legendary opera singer Jose Carreras will sing his best arias in Kutaisi on 18 June. In total, it is planned to hold concerts in 19 cities of Georgia.
The festival program will delight with its diversity and large scope of the audience. Among them are: FEST I NOVA, GEM-FEST, Tbilisi photo-festival Kolga, Artesterium, Hit-Batumi, Art-Gen, Tbilisi Jazz Festival, Black Sea Jazz Festival and many others.
It is also planned to organize gourmet festivals of the Georgian wine and cheese. For fans of active holidays, bike tours and hiking, trips to national parks and reserves of Georgia will be arranged.
Organizers assure that this project will contribute to the development of tourism in the country and will attract attention of a wider public. We hope that such a good initiative will turn into a tradition.
