Festivals in Kazakhstan 2026

Kazakhstan's festivals in 2026 will continue to honor the rich traditions of our ancestors, which have flourished for centuries across the vast steppes. These events, much like in ancient times, offer a blend of folk games, the preparation and sampling of traditional dishes, and markets featuring handmade crafts. There are also master classes and a host of other activities. Many of these festivals have a sporting aspect, including horse races, falconry, and various team competitions.

These festivals also serve as a gateway to Kazakhstan's history. Visitors can experience traditional yurts, see people dressed in national costumes, listen to folk music, and join in with Kazakh dance performances.

To make the most of your visit, be sure to check the festival program. It's a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the age-old folk traditions of Kazakhstan.
