New flight from Astana to Taraz

National Airlines “Air Astana” has opened a new direct flight from Astana to Taraz. As of July 2015, regular flights to the ancient city in the south of the country will operate from the capital of Kazakhstan. The jet plane Embraer-190 with the capacity of 97 passengers will fly between the cities on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Taraz is the city with the history of 2000 years, through which the Great Silk Road had passed. There have been few medieval monuments, caravan-sarais and mausoleums preserved. For travelers, this ancient, yet a modern city will be a real discovery.
