Kalai-Khumb (a.k.a Qal'ai Khumb, Qal'a-i-Khum) is a small settlement in the mountainous region that borders with Afghanistan. Accommodation options are rather limited; there are few guesthouses and one very nice hotel in Kalai-Khumb. It is quite hard to make reservation in the guesthouses, so mainly, independent tourists agree on the spot. The only hotel in Kalai-Khumb differs from local guesthouses and offers comfortable stay.
