Web- turism.ru reports that tourists of Astana soon will be served with double-decker buses. This service will be called Astana Bus Tours and will provide special tours through Astana roads. Information about historical and cultural places of the city will be given via special voice recordings played in bus cabin, so called Audio Guides.
The buses will run on "Hop on - Hop off" system, which will provide unlimited number of boardings in and out for passengers, who bought tickets. The buses will run from 10 am to 11 pm during week days and untill midnight on holidays. In future, it is planned to conduct night excursions as well, in case of popularity of the service.
This kind of service for tourists has long been used in many major cities around the world, and now will be available for guests of the capital of Kazakhstan.
